Chapters & News

First the news:

I.  First let me say 'thank you for your patience' as most of you know I went off to the Advanced Leadership Course at Fort McCoy, I tried to keep up my writing schedule, but was simply unable to allocate the time to it that I wanted.  Thankfully it was only a one month course and I am now BACK, and what's more, I'm going to write full time for the next few weeks at the very least to make up for the absence.  

I hope that you understand and can forgive the relative lack of updates for the last few weeks while I've been away.  Frankly it was killing me to not write for hours per day.  :D  

II.  I got six chapters into beta today as of this moment, and I'm going to TRY for two more before I go to bed.

Tonight and tomorrow I'm going to focus on The One Who Stayed, volume 6, and 'Who Endures'.  

III.  Thanks to you all's support, I've cut out 20 hours per month (5 hours per week) from my regular job, I'm now 20% of my goal towards writing full time.

IV.  ALSO in the NEWS department...  I've been wanting to do something special for my patrons, my betas, and my clients, and I've come up with something I think you'll like...

I'm going to start putting some time into studying Unity 5, and little by little, I am going to attempt to build an interactive exploratory simulator of my 'Worlds'.  I don't know if I'd call it a 'game' really, but I thought it would be neat to create something that would let you walk through the streets of Pas'en or Komestra, or up the steps of the pyramid of bones in the Tlalmok heartlands.

I don't want to promise more than I can deliver here, of course, not going to promise you Dreamworld (the scam MMO that promised millions of players on a server) but I think, based on what I've been researching, that creating a small explorable world should be possible, especially if I only give it out to those who have either devoted money or time to seeing me able to write and create.  

I am still tinkering with concepts and working out what it will cost to have the assets made that would be necessary, but we'll see where it goes.  I doubt I have the means to create an MMO, but a nice single player adventure where you can explore the world I've created for you might be doable, yes?

VI.  LAST... I'll be making all of my published books available on hardback as well, and the first book of 'Who Endures' will be out on paper, hard, and ebook format around the end of this month and the start of the next.
