Omake - Spirit Detective Yukimura
Added 2021-12-06 08:50:23 +0000 UTCI have been insanely busy lately and haven't had much time for any serious fanfic writing (ie KSCoB). That said, writing is a big component of how I relax, so I haven't been up to nothing. In those in-between moments, I've produced this: Spirit Detective Yukimura.
So context. I was reading a new chapter of Lucky Child and wondered if there was a Detective Keiko AU somewhere out there. Surprisingly, I couldn't find one. So I wrote one. Plot bunnies are the worst, but this itch is scratched for now.
Anyway, the entries of this story are far shorter than I usually write and closer to canon than I usually go for. I can think of a few important non-canon plot points important to Keiko's character development that I'd explicitly include if I wanted to spend a few weeks (once I have some proper free time) polishing this up and fleshing out a good OC required for them. But I have too many other stories to work on.
In short, have roughly 42k words of a fun romp in the Yu Yu Hakusho world while I sort out my life before I get back to serious stories. If you prefer to read on FF.net, I plan to post an initial chunk of the chapters there as well and then release the rest over a short time.
