ReaX Ep 8: The X-Men Should Be a Soap Opera

I apologize for disappearing for a bit - but we are finally back to reacting to X-Men Evolution. Season 2 kicks off in a big way. If last season was the high school AU then this season seems to lean into the X-Men's true genre: Soap Operas. We got new enemies, new students, and so, so many new love triangles. Plus, I'm like 90% sure a bird is gonna catch fire very soon.

I've memorized the first 4 episodes of this season so much. I was saying their dialogues as I was watching this. Like Rogue going "HEY WHO GAVE YOU PERMISSION TO LOOK INSIDE MY HEAD" with that accent and Logan going "and they say I don't follow the rules"

2025-09-09 14:08:37 +0000 UTCI think the logic behind Scott talking to Jean through rogue is that Jean is an actual psychic who is currently going through an evolutionary stage of her powers. So rather than just being a personality acting through rogue it was also Jean using their shared psychic abilities to connect to her.

Comic connection and team formation accuracy don’t matter on a show like this , it more like which action figure do you want out of the toy chest to play with. Picking any character you want to use would be such an interesting thing to do. Love the videos so exited for the rest of season 2
