"See you soon... Snips" The Dark Path, Part One

It has been six months since the bloody end of the Clone Wars and the Republic, and the rise of the GALACTIC EMPIRE. While the enemies of peace have been slaughtered, not all is well; after a destructive coup from within the IMPERIAL SENATE, Emperor Palpatine is dead.

In his place now rules his prized pupil and closest friend ANAKIN SKYWALKER; the former Jedi Knight who placed duty above all when he killed the traitor Jedi MACE WINDU and OBI-WAN KENOBI has ascended to the throne with the unanimous support of the grateful masses as well as the brave clone soldiers of the Grand Army of the Empire. Peace, freedom, justice and security seems soon to return to the weary citizens of the Empire.

Meanwhile, on a distant Outer Rim moon, Anakin's former Jedi student AHSOKA TANO wakes in the middle of the night, startled by intense, twisted visions of her former master...

This has been my project for the first couple weeks of August! If you've been around a while you probably remember the older Ahsoka x Anakin picture sets I did a year or so ago+, well these are sort of a "reboot" of that concept; depictions of a timeline where Darth Vader killed Obi-Wan on Mustafar and after a series of alternate events goes on to become Emperor Skywalker. It won't all focus on Ahsoka's journey in this timeline, I'll try to show other characters, but it's where we're starting (again). Maybe along the way I'll learn how to make this work as an actual story/comic too, we'll see.

My next project will be catching up on outstanding monthlies, so expect another big batch of pictures towards the end of the month :>
