Wow, I've been looking back at 2017 and it's been one crazy year for the channel. Personally, I think some of the best videos / weirdest things came to life this year on the channel.
1. The Simple Series - An idea I had in mind since I began Youtube finally got off the ground and became imitated all within a year. Please look forward to another episode within a month. I've been working on a new one set to release soon after Ep.4 of b-sides.
2. Grasshopper B-Sides - This series started shortly after my Silver Case and Let It Die review. I became interested in the the "Punk Rock Video Game Band" and it's front man Suda 51 upon doing research for those reviews. I've always been a fan of No More Heroes, Shadows of the Damned and more recently, Killer7. This semi-documentary series began as a personal journey through the niche` titles from a developer that specializes in the art form of obscurity. Loving this and it's seemingly gaining a little ground - internationally, at least.
3. The Gaming Seahorse. One of the most popular new shows, despite my lowest efforts being involved in the production. I'm at a loss for words. I don't know where to take this show. It's fairly easy to make. Improvised. I just don't want to risk running it into the ground. Spread them out, to make them special / funny. Nothing's ever officially dead on the channel, so look forward to more.
4. OFFICIAL PERSONA **** REVIEW, Yakuza Fury (Gaijin Origins), Control V and the Blue Stinger Halloween Special. Even though those videos are skit heavy - I think they demonstrate some of the best of Kirk's acting and pushed a lot of boundaries in what makes up a video game review skit. I think we take it a little too far, mainly because we have too good of a time on the set - trying out new ideas and jokes. SOMETIMES they work for people, other times they miss. I'm still very happy to look back and ask myself "what were we thinking!?" My goal was to make the core audience of HM laugh and show appreciation to you guys for sticking with us over the years. Those videos might not be as outsider friendly, but that's kinda the running thread with the content on the channel.

Going forward, I want to focus on growing the things that are working on the channel and throwing in a new idea or two. In the meantime, I'll try to stream when I'm not actively writing or editing a video. I want to have more guests on, maybe open the channel to more collaborations. It's been a super busy year!
TL;DR - Thanks for the love in the comments section, the chats we have in the Discord and your continued support on Patreon. (I'm going to be more aggressive about pushing it - maybe a revamp) . I hope you're happy with the content you've seen in 2017. If you like to see any particular content over another please let your voice be heard.
