wakatoshi was a late bloomer : even when he entered high school, his secondary gender was asleep.
however, everyone always assumed that he was an alpha : sharp features, strong body, charismatic aura, good at sport… anyone with common sense would see him as an alpha, so why denying it ?
ushijima never brought up the subject when people would compliment him about it, all he had to do was to wait for the day his gender (as alpha of course!) would awoken and everything would be fine.
so the day wakatoshi presented as an omega was astonishing. it couldn’t be true. not an athlete like /him/.
being an omega wasn’t a problem itself, but the image that he built for years was. only the shiratorizawa coaches and tendou knew about it. everything will be just fine like this. no one had to know.
until the day seijoh’s captain, oikawa tooru (who also happened to hate him with all his guts), walked on him having an unexpected heat.
