Hey everyone! I made an update to the front screen plate of the new Switch 2 Mini TV that was released yesterday.
I’ve been working nonstop—literally through the night without sleep (it's currently 11am and I still have not slept because I wanted to get this done)—to make sure this updated version was ready for you first thing in the morning. I take a lot of pride in making sure my designs are as polished and thoughtful as possible, and your feedback plays a huge role in helping me get there.
This updated version of the Switch 2 Mini TV includes two improvements to the front plate for better aesthetics and screen protection.
• A redesigned front plate that fully frames the screen, hiding all black borders for a cleaner, more immersive display.
• Added space and markers for 1mm foam tape to help cushion the screen and prevent direct contact with the print surface.
While the front plate is designed with enough clearance to avoid touching the screen during normal use, adding 1mm thick foam tape is highly recommended—especially for those selling prints to customers. It provides an extra layer of protection and peace of mind, particularly for users who may insert or remove their device quickly.
The updated files—including new product photos and revised assembly instructions—are now available in a new ZIP folder attached to the new listing, so be sure to download them to get the latest version of the model.
I’ve received a ton of positive feedback on this new stand, along with many requests for more designs. Since the previous stands for the Original/OLED models were top sellers for many shops, I’m already brainstorming new concepts for future Switch 2 displays.
In less than 24 hours after posting my latest video, I received over 100+ comments and direct messages from people asking to buy one. It’s clear there’s strong demand for Switch 2 stands right now—making this a perfect product to offer in your shop if you're subscribed to the Authorized Merchant Tier. I’ll also be working on additional designs soon to help you stay ahead of the curve as demand continues to grow.
