Ha, I am glad to add some levity to this gut wrenching episode. Thanks, take care!

I didn't even realize that it aired on Toonami, that's great to hear. It is funny how we change our views and opinions on things as we get older. I enjoy going back and watching things I haven't seen in years to see what I think about it now. Thanks for sharing that story, take care!

This is probably one of my favorite episodes of the series. Last time I watched this was when I was about 12 years old (6 3/4 years ago) on Toonami on Adult Swim when the dub was showing past midnight, and this was the first episode of the series that I saw that I actually payed any attention to I believe. My first time I actively seeked out an anime aside from wanting my parents to buy me DBZ as an even younger child, and I didn't even know it was an anime at the time, or even what an anime was (nor did I DBZ when I was even younger ofc). Had to use my shitty 4 1/2-inch screen with bad internet to slowly get through it on my phone that could barely function as is. Definitely a lot better now that I'm able to actually fully comprehend the entire show and it's themes, unlike when I had that small 12 year old brain, lol. I really liked Kana back then, and I especially do now. I liked Murano more before rewatching this with you from what I could recall of the show from when I watched it way back when, but I think I like Kana more now. Fuck parasytes. (I also really liked the inclusion of the ending song at the end)

A really emotional episode, the show has a fantastic cast of characters, even if they are the typical archetypes they're all still very likeable so losing someone hits like a truck. They use their soundtrack really well too, both with Kana and the credit roll, well used music adds a lot to anything I feel!

That was a heavy episode. It still hits hard even when you rewatch it. Great reaction. I look forward to your discussion on Ytube!
