Thanks Nick, I definitely will, sounds great, take care!

You should read this chapter of the manga sometime, Araki's drawings are absolutely crazy with all of the deleted time and Bruno phasing through pillars and walls, but it all still makes sense. Really well illustrated

Nick Graves

It seems to be a very complicated issue, I would love to see Araki's take on it. Thanks, hope you are well, take care!

The Zen Reaction

Thanks Corey, it seems to be well received. Take care!

While there is a place in stories for a clear good and evil, I think I gravitate more to the ones that show different sides of each, leaving it up to us to figure it all out. Fugo staying behind is definitely much more true to reality, and I think understandable from his point of view, thanks Maple, take care!

Interesting discussion, perhaps when the part is over I will look more into it, thanks everyone, take care!

The Zen Reaction

The characters have a lot of depth, and I am really enjoying it. Thanks Kay, take care!

The Zen Reaction

It was a bold and interesting choice to have Fugo stay behind, hope you have been well Vallahex, take care!

I disagree. Dios attacks happen outside of time skip as what he has done has not happened in real time but rather his own stop time dimension.

I won't go into detail for spoiler purposes but there is a very well put together reason by Araki himself you should look for yourself.

James

I once saw a video about king crimson vs the world, and basically king crimson can predict the future like hes looking a pieces of paper. If dio stopped time to attack the boss, he would see all of dios movements in stopped time happening at once

Precisely, it's the idea that everyone in fiction has to either be evil or heroic. Fugo's decision is realistic, not so black and white as people make it out to be.

Joseph i'm glad you finally decided to include the after episode thoughts on patreon!.

It's easy to say that he should have risked his life for his crew and stayed, but realistically everyone who hates fugo for his decision wouldn't have done the same for their friends.

The purple haze being too broken isn't true, I won't go into further detail due to possible spoilers but that's not the reason.

It always saddens me that Fugo has gotten tons of hate for deciding not to betray Passione for his friends. People fail to understand how painful this is for him, you can see him shaking and repeating things to himself to keep himself calm and collected. He literally had reason clashing with his love for the only people that ever accepted him. And I always believed that his decision is perfectly in character given how he's always relied on his intelligence to get through life. I wish he'd have joined of course, but it's just hard to blame him.

I believe Araki said that the reason why Fugo did not come along was because Giorno and Fugo combo was way too broken so I guess he wanted to nerf the gang lol

Bruno got hit so bad but it still didn’t stop him and thanks to the brooch and his intuition he managed to out smart the boss. I love that he tells the crew what happened but also still never reveals that he and Giorno wanted to take o er the organization to end the drug trade. Still fell bad that Fugo stayed behind but seeing as he has extreme self doubt about his anger issues and with that his ability to control his stand it makes sense. Even more so him saying that it’s illogical to betray the boss, trying to rationalize staying loyal to the organization and looking the other way when just like the rest of the Bucci gang he’s a good person that only became part of this live of crime because society failed them.

Yaaaay one of my favorite episode in part 5 the tension of almost losing Bruno was killer and then the heart warming finish of the team all individually deciding to follow Bruno again, love it, interesting that Fugos own intelligence is what holds him back here he knows the odds all to well and can’t bring himself to face them despite the probability of death like the others can
