Vote on Voting
Added 2020-07-05 00:43:13 +0000 UTCHello everyone, we have the next movie poll coming up soon, and I wanted to see which option your prefer when voting, one response per vote (one selection) or having the option for multiple votes (select more than one option).
Thanks again for all your support, take care!

2020-07-05 01:43:53 +0000 UTCMy thoughts on polling in general: I'd like multiple polling rounds for series. Like, pick 10, let people vote and split the top 5 and bottom 5 in 2 new polls so less popular shows get a chance (and we get more content haha). The way single round polls work will always result in the most popular shows winning (often times shonen animes that every single reactor on the internet has seen already), followed by the seasonal flavor of the month. This makes it very hard for kinda niche shows to get any coverage, despite being really good. As an example, Monogatari reactions are soooo rare (you reacted to some openings already, but never had it in any polls afaik), while Demon Slayer, My Hero Academia, "insert trashy isekai" etc. are like a staple for every single reactor. Looking at how long a series will run on your channel (HxH for example will take a year), a couple days or weeks to finalize good poll results wouldnt hurt. I've seen a couple reactors that I follow splitting polls based on animation studios too (like when the reaction community had a Kyoto Animation tribute month/s after the arson attack in 2019). Of course I understand that the "popular shonen"-way is what the market demands and that it is better financially speaking but it is also very unpersonal if you understand what I mean. I don't know how much time you want to spend on this channel or if you even do this as your full time job, but the above is what seperates average and great reaction channels imo. So far you've done a good job (really like the PiP full lenght reactions) and there is a bright future ahead for this channel if you ask me <3.
