I finished reading the Golden Wind manga as you started your anime reactions to it, so this is the first time I've seen Abbachio's end animated. Truly a beautiful and moving scene. Spectacular episode. Hope all is well with you. : )

A thing that's pretty interesting is instead of doing consecutive punches like Sticky Fingers, Golden Experience and most other stands, King Crimson always does a single punch and that punch usually kills.

Actually the boss somehow was able to get down to the beach, grab the kid, get back up behind the rock, slit his wrist and drink the blood and take his place with the other children back at the beach. I guess he closed the kid's mouth with the laces to prevent him from making any noise.

man this episode hurts coming back to and it honestly makes it even better when you realize abacchio left that shard in his hand for ginorno to find as he’s the only one who could’ve had the piece return to the statue. also what you asked about king crimson and the laced up mouth, it’s not an ability, he himself did it and perhaps it’s done to show how sick the boss really is
