It's tied with Fullmetal Alchemist Brotherhood as #1 in my heart. Can't wait for you to finish this show because the depth of writing and seriousness increases exponentially as the series goes on.

2020-08-22 18:28:00 +0000 UTCOne of my favorite parts of the dub is in the episode, when kamina uses fighting spirit to fix Gurren Lagann, and Simon is all shocked that it worked and kamina comes over coms and just screams “fighting spirit”. In the dub the VA just put in such innocence and happiness in kaminas voice lol
