Also after the final time skip you said six months passed but I think you meant to say 2 years and 6 months passed because it seems we skipped from January 1996 to June 1998. Mikiya IS NOT humming nonsense, he is humming "Singing in the rain". It seems Crunchyroll edited that scene because they couldn't get the license for the song, which sucks. I would link you a youtube video but couldn't find one. There's another scene in movie 4 that is edited in the same fashion, you might want to watch it in a different site.
