2020-09-05 16:23:40 +0000 UTCI wanted to learn Latin, but I transferred high schools 2 weeks in. I really enjoyed it though. The only words I remember are “mater” and “pater” meaning mother and father. And I remember “plaustrum” I think is how you spell it? It means a rolling cart, or something with wheels for carrying. My teacher spent the whole first week only speaking to us in Latin, and had us learn by inferring what he was saying. It was really interesting.
