I don't really like MMORPGs, but I spent a lot of time at WOW Classic last year and I really enjoyed it. Many people complained that the game did not turn out as expected, but I got a lot of good memories. The greatest pleasure I got was not from getting good equipment or raising the level, but from simple suicidal trips to the dungeons with people I saw for the first time. If there's one thing this game has taught me, it's that any team, even if it's not made up of the most experienced players, can get great results if they share the same goal (and the ability to come back after death to start all over again). Any difficulties force you to adapt and find unusual solutions to various problems. Gotta love it.
