2020-09-27 04:41:48 +0000 UTCI live in the San Francisco Bay Area and was driving home from visiting my cousin up in the peninsula. I was taking Interstate 280, which is really scenic with rolling hills and trees and cows and a really picturesque lake and a reservoir called Crystal Springs. It's a solid 40-50minute drive. That particular drive, there was low fog visible in between the hills despite the only partly cloudy skies, and the sun was setting to my left, so the clouds and fog were that perfect pink-orange hue, and since that drive is so scenic, whether it's clear or rainy, I always play this particular album called Terria by Devin Townsend, which is quite beautiful and heavy at the same time. It was gorgeous, and I've never forgotten that drive even 10 years later.
