2020-10-13 22:47:34 +0000 UTCToday I found out Middle school in Japan actually includes what's considered Freshman year of High School in the US. Apparently it's broken up so 1st-6th grades are Elementary, 7th-9th grades are Middle School, and 10th-12th grade is High School.

The Vice Principal is a dick (as his first introduction showed) but he’s not all bad, his love for the Cresta is still one of my favorite running gags and me and my friend still joke about it to this day. The exaggerated facial expressions are even better in the manga, it’s one of the funniest things about the series. I think the series is really good at taking on themes like bullying and the societal pressure that weights on the students as well as the teachers, that’s the reason it’s one of my favorite series of all time. I was way into video games too around that time and like you said, I did find a lot of friends through it.
