When I was in middle school I had a classmate who was very much a loner and disconnected from the rest of the class. We tried our best to include him into things but he was so different from all of us that it made it extremely hard to do that. Slowly but surely there were signs that showed that he was being abused at home but as middle schoolers we weren’t smart enough to piece them together. It wasn’t until 2 years later in the 7th grade where he was finally taken from his parents and was moved to another school. Things like that happen to so many children, and to have known someone who was struggling through it really hits me in the feels. I can relate a lot with Satoru and his determination to save Hinazuki, luckily for him he lives in a world where he’s able to do that. Sorry for the sad story lol. great reaction as always Zen!
