Some of my favorite characters in this episode, so much new information too! Also I kind of interpreted the Reiner speaking at the dinner table scene as Reiner telling his family what paradise was like but under the guise that he thought these things were bad when he knew they weren’t but he was hoping to maybe spark questions in gabi and get her to think about the devils differently, without outwardly saying anything treasonous.And that’s what horrified his mother she knew that that’s what Reiner was doing and his mother is terrified of what treasonous thoughts like those will do to her family
