It ran in the same magazine as Gintama, One Piece, Naruto, etc. However, Kochikame was legendary in Japan, as it ran for 40 years without EVER missing a week. Always a chapter. 1960 chapters, 1960 weeks. Began in September 1976, ended in September 2016.
