The Light Novel of Re:Zero is at 25 volumes right now. As of this episode the anime is in the middle of Volume 13. Assuming the anime continues at a similar pace to the current, there's at least two full seasons more of content left. So 48-50 episodes. But, the light novels aren't completed either. With more content coming up soon. Although, I do think there won't be as much of a break between the seasons as there were for Season 1 and 2. A lot was happening on the light novel side of things that must have made it difficult.

2021-01-07 19:53:35 +0000 UTCThe song in the beginning is actually a song from S1 called "STRAIGHT BET", which was an insert song for Episode 7, when Subaru killed himself for the first time by jumping off the cliff. The name of that song is the title of the novel chapter this episode covered, and the title of the episode. So they got the song back to play during it.
