They succeeded (in a way) however these dragon teeth golems were berserkers and would not obey their reptile creators; they would fall upon each other as soon as any enemy. The Hephaestus group saw potential in advancing WAR-BRED technologies and used the dragon teeth blueprint creating exoskeletal armor that could be "Tamed" by Makhai. Bellerophon/Achilles/Odysseus have SPARTOI armor upgrades in their Makhai warware. Dragon scale & dragon teeth have different uses when synthesized by Dodekatheon.
PREMATURE DISCHARGE - The beginning of the Aborted Incursions were centuries in the making with the indoctrination of several compromised godheads as a prelude to full on reality-spanning infestation. Where the walls of reality first broke, those early entities squirmed and clawed their way through the masses to be the first to feed on a fresh reality. Fortunately there were Gods ready to repel them.
