2021-04-22 22:30:47 +0000 UTCThe arcs being short and feeling like more could have been done with them is pretty intentional, Bakemonogatari (and Kizu and Nise) for the most part exists simply to introduce characters to us and give us a small (about half a light novel in Bake's case) arc with them to get to know them. Later arcs will return to every characters at least once, and typically last 4-6 episodes with them having gotten a full light novel each per arc.
