This is kinda a make or break question for reactions to this series and I am sure many people have told you already that the tv release order is not the intended watch order and Nisemonogatari has heavy spoilers for the movies and should not ve watched before them, despite being released later.

Well, you finally got what you're asking for with a Hanekawa focussed arc, not got a lot to say about this episode since a lot of the stuff worth talking about can only be talked further down the line, some in this arc and some in future ones even. One of the few things is as you mentioned Hanekawa's past actions making sense now given her messed up family situation, her being able to see Hachikuji makes perfect sense now and its that kind of stuff that makes this series so worth rewatching, there's constant small throwbacks later on and many Chekov's guns being set up each episode early on. As for the story jumping around, I've kept a timeline updated for another reactor week to week in the past, and I'll probably do it again on the discord since keeping the timeline straight helps quite a lot. It won't really be needed til quite a bit later though so I won't be doing it for a while most likely.
