2021-05-02 04:16:21 +0000 UTCThat's definitely not why Madoka Magica is popular. You're completely underselling it on so many levels, lol.

2021-05-02 04:12:49 +0000 UTCAlways wanted to watch Death Parade. Never heard anything about Baccano before. I really didn’t enjoy kill la kill myself. Tanya the Evil is a fun short watch.

2021-05-01 22:58:04 +0000 UTC- Baccano! is awesome. - Beastars is also awesome. - I haven't seen Death Parade but it sounds like a combination of Kuchu Buranko, Bartender, and the film Sweet Rain: Shinigami no Seido. - Kill la Kill is all right. - Madoka Magica is all right. But I think it's very popular because it many people's first edgy seinen, so they have a sentimental attachment to it. - Tanya the evil is all right. The premise is interesting and it's unlike many other isekais. It does tend to cut itself on it's own edge sometimes though.

2021-05-01 22:48:48 +0000 UTCDeath Parade is great and I haven't seen it in a long time but I am also down to have an excuse to watch Baccano which I hear nothing but praise about so if either wins I'm a happy camper.

2021-05-01 22:08:47 +0000 UTCMadoka would be such a great pick, even if it doesnt happen this time, I hope it gets another chance. Shaft even announced a 2nd movie recently, a great time to get into the story of this classic.

2021-05-01 15:12:16 +0000 UTCI just hope Youjo Senki doesn't win. Let me explain. I'm not trying to say that you shouldn't vote for it if you like it though, this is just my opinion. I should also say that I really love the manga. With Youjo Senki, the manga and the anime are both separate adaptations of a Light Novel. My problem starts here. In 12 episodes the anime got further into the Light Novels than the manga, even though the manga has more than 60 chapters (the chapters are also quite long, with some of them being up to 80 pages (4 times the length of a "regular" manga chapter like One Piece, HxH, JJK, etc.)). How is that possible? The anime almost completely disregards anything that is not pure action (an exaggeration oc, but you get what I'm trying to say). Character interactions and the political context of the action only play a minor role in the anime. Keep in mind that none of you should let some rando on the internet (like me) influence what you do and what you enjoy. P.S.: To Joseph: I'm certain there's a lot of people here who would enjoy a reaction to this, so don't think for a second that I'm trying to talk you out of ever reacting to it. Take care y'all! P.P.S. How do you do a line break in a patreon comment?
Michael
