Ah, man! I'm so glad you reacted to the line about Youpi "making an unbelievable choice" just like me. The narrator pre-hyping the moment and being like "So, some really cool stuff is gonna happen, but that's for later. Anyway..." is such a unique little touch in storytelling. I don't know if I've seen it elsewhere. I guess this is what people mean when they say something is "well paced." It feels like everything since the start of the invasion has flowed naturally, both by keeping things moving along at a good clip, but also by foreshadowing things coming in the future. Sometimes, a lot more overtly hahaha.
