One detail I love in this episode is when Madoka greets Homura for the first time we get to see her when she's found her confidence due to being a Magical Girl. She's still the same but isn't afraid of the world anymore and it comes through in how she talks to Homura.

My first watching of this show had me annoyed about quite a few things, but rewatching it this time keeping in mind from the first that Homura is the real protagonist and all this other information made me enjoy everything up to this point a lot more.

2021-11-15 08:51:56 +0000 UTCo: 1) Urobutcher stated that she looped around 100 times, for a month and a half period each time that makes 12 years worth of failure to save anyone and see everyone dying over and over again. 2) In the third timeline the grief seed Madoka uses on Homura's soul gem is the one from Sayaka's witch. 3) The penultimate time line which end in Madoka's witch powerful enough to obliterate earth in 10 days is actually what you see in the beginning of the first episode 4) Last timeline is the one we are following in the series. We see Madoka finding Kyubey back of the store. 5) The OP is put at the end because all this happened before the beginning and also to make it clear that it was Homura singing it all along, from episode 1. 6) If you were now to rewatch the previous episodes all the dialogues between Madoka and Homura are actually more clear and more painful to listen to.
