Ah we're finally here, Kill la Kill is an interesting show in large part due to the structuring of the story mainly really kicking off from here with everything up to here mostly establishing stuff like the characters and the world. We've gotten 15 episodes of character development, world building, and some light plot stuff that's all built up to allow these last 9 episodes to essentially play out the "real" Kill la Kill starting with the truth behind the life fibers which is really the kind of thing some other shows would start off with. This episode is such a huge turning point and Trigger clearly knew it with how the OP and ED only changed here, from an honestly very generic OP into an extremely fitting OP that's a freaking fashion show with a lot more to it. I really like episodes 1-15 but 16-24 is absolutely what makes Kill La Kill my all time favourite anime. And of course it's aliens, it's always bloody aliens with Trigger/Gainax.
