Bambu X1C: the Fastest, Easiest, BEST 3D PRINTER I've Ever Seen

Bambu is making the best, fastest 3D printers I've ever seen. It's 2x to 2.5x faster than other comparable printers, and print quality is as good or better. Although you'll never completely escape "3d printer hell" (where you have a problem that you have to experiment to solve), Bambu comes as close as I've ever experienced to "hit print and the part just comes out of the printer, with screwing around."

Although I'm reviewing the top-end X1C, Bambu has two other printers that are significantly less expensive. The P1S and P1P are just as fast and easy to use as the X1C, but with a few corners cut to save price. Many hobbyists--especially those who don't print more exotic filaments like ABS and carbon nylon--won't notice the difference.

If you're at the $300-ish price point on a printer, the Bambu printers are simply out of reach. But bear in mind that by the time you finish upgrading that $300 printer, you might have afforded a P1P, which will unquestionably give faster, easier, better results. If you're in the $500 and up price point, there is a good chance this is the printer you should buy.

Unfortunately, the one I got from a "3d printing professional", he asked me not to share. I can share the sainsmart one I got from Bambu though. https://www.dropbox.com/scl/fi/g2y04m0jmzd648m37vff0/SainSmart-TPU-Green.json?rlkey=zacwwx4ge5x28t7erhgqhk8q8&dl=0

The P1P works with the AMS btw. Any plans to share those specific TPU profiles?

I have my X1C for a couple of months now and I love it.

In the description below the video! Thank you for using, it means a lot on a big ticket like this.

I've had my X1C for a couple of months now, and it is amazing. I have other Big expensive printers, such as the Craftbot Flow IDEX XL, and the X1C blows it away in terms of ease of use and speed. I love the massive build surface on my IDEX XL, but 95% of what I normally print on a weekly basis fits in the 256x256x256 build space of the X1C. I can't recommend it enough. I also highly recommend the Wham Bam PEX build plate; it works amazingly without any glue or anything else. You NEED Glue on it if you print PETG as a release agent, or you will ruin the surface.

Another great video Bardwell! It’s so exciting to have been featured in this one. 😁

Great vid! I am glad Bambu is making 3d printing much more accessible and lower frustration/hassle. With that in mind I don't like a few of their practices. They frequently irritate the 3d printing community by making a a "Whoopsie, we just did XYZ and sorry about that" which is usually something related to violating open source rules or etiquette. The community tends to forgive them and moves on, and then they do it all over again. Another issue is that you may have to wait weeks to get replacement parts when things break, and/or relying on them for everything you need. But as you say in the video that is part of what you get when you are going for the Bambu experience. I fall into the camp of wanting to build and tinker and be on the forefront of 3d printing (Voron, VzBot, etc.) and also value Open Source and being able to upgrade to the latest/greatest as things move forward vs. relying on a vendor. So I am definitely not the target customer. But I do hope at some point 3d printing gets a bit more mainstream and less frustrating/more like 2d printing. :) It would be great if Prusa came out with a more competitive product in the same price range, I'd much rather support them. Thanks for the video.

quick tip: you can use windex instead of glue stick on the cold plate and it works perfectly: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=VKj4VpygyfM
