Mustang's hatred, Hawkeye making good on her promise to point a gun at Roy's back if he every strafes away from his path, Edward's refusal to allow the Flame Alchemist to become a monster, and Scar's understanding of where the path of hatred leads, all culminates in what I consider to be one of the best character moments in this whole series; Edward understanding Envy's character, and Envy calling Edward by his full name for the first time, right at the end.
