I love this show. That scene is one of the best in movie history. You have that old cliche of superhero movies ending in a big apocalyptical final battle and you are sure this is what is going to happen for the season finally, the hero will stand up and find a way to beat the villain. Only for the final fight to end not in a comeback, but a victory through a single line that carries so much more power. The show improves so much more on the original comics which were overall good because they were carried by such spectacular moments from time to time including the ending which is one of the best I have ever read. So if they continue doing the adaptation the way they are, it's going to be one of the best stories ever told.

2022-07-04 10:43:24 +0000 UTCWhat a crazy first season. There is a lot of existing material to cover but the writers also like to change things up (The writer of the comics is also a writer/producer for the show.) There is some really exciting stuff to look forward to in the future seasons!

2022-07-04 04:09:58 +0000 UTCTwo more seasons should be coming out - probably not until next year though. Season one was really quite enjoyable - much more than I expected from an animated superhero show. Hope the writers can keep the surprises coming.
