2022-10-26 06:39:35 +0000 UTCLol the ff7 stuff is so on point. I'm sure you've noticed by now that Sorachi loves his RPGs, particularly ff and dragon quest. I really like how when you look at gintama as a whole you can really see the influence from his love of the games, as the "side quest" silly episodes make up so much of the heart of the show, but tie back into the final "big boss battles" and epic storylines. You'll see even more aesthetic similarities to ff7 going forward as well. Can't wait for the rest of this journey for you.
