To this day, this remains my favorite MHA episode. I love Todoroki so much and S2 made him my favorite character in the series. This episode was HIS episode, and it was just perfect from start to finish. It was emotional, it had great action, amazing fight. In my opinion, this should have been the final battle of the tournament. It felt like a final. The Deku vs Todoroki stuff was the best part of S2.

2022-12-24 17:10:22 +0000 UTCDeku couldn’t bear to win without having both parties fully put in their effort- and by helping Todoroki with his pain he was able to have the battle he wanted. One does wonder how much the human body can really take though.. especially with how many broken bones Deku has gotten at this point..
