2023-02-09 03:00:48 +0000 UTCI also agree that Aizawa made the right call. Momo was really in a tough spot mentally after the sports festival. A lack of confidence, much like other negative feelings, can easily compound and become debilitating if you let them. It also probably didn't help that having come from a very wealthy family, it's a real possibility that her loss at the sports festival might have been one of the few times she truly struggled, even more so seeing she's the smartest in the class the prior episode. I imagine that Aizawa realized the good it could do for her confidence in that moment. She's clearly capable, and Aizawa, being the awesome teacher that he is, recognized that and did what he felt would help her the most. It's really incredible what a bit of self-confidence can do, and I personally find Momo's struggle with it pretty relatable.

2023-02-07 06:48:40 +0000 UTCI think it's a really cool idea to show the old guard of heroes getting weaker due to the consequences of harrowing battles they faced. Like with All Might's steadily decreasing amount of time he can be in his hero form and Aizawa with his decreased duration and increased interval in the use of his power. It really gives the sense that we're watching them pass on the torch to the newer generation as they become less and less effective or capable and the students become more and more effective and capable.
