2023-07-21 12:36:24 +0000 UTCConcerning the episode lengths, Ginga Eiyuu Densetsu was first released as an OVA (so in direct home video installments) meaning they didn't necessarily have to stick to the television format. Now mostly replaced by ONAs, the 80s saw a boom of fantastic OVAs being made and it was common to see non-standard episode counts as well as durations, because they had the freedom to experiment.
