2023-07-21 12:35:21 +0000 UTCThe One For All comparison is not the only similarity Avatar has with MHA, Zuko and Todoroki both wield fire, have facial scars, and have powerful fire dads. Someone once asked the mangaka of MHA if he was inspired by Zuko in that regard, but surprisingly it's entirely a coincidence. I am not sure if OFA was directly inspired by Avatar at all, but they are oddly similar. It's funny that you happen to be watching both shows at the same time though. Most people usually compare OFA to Avatar, so it was fun to see the reverse!
