To answer your timeline question, the start of the story is actually 10 months before Deku starts at UA, because of all his training to inherit OFA. The entrance exam was most likely in January. Deku was accepted into UA in March, and the first two seasons covered the months up until summer break. Season 3 happens during summer break. This episode mentioned they were nearing the end of November, so by now, subtracting the 10 month training at the start, and the time between the entrance exam and the start of the first term, we are at around 8 or 9 months since Deku started at UA.
