Seeing Aang get that mad at the end was chilling. We’re so not used to seeing that from him, but given the situation, I can’t blame him. Appa is more than just a pet or friend to him. He’s literally, along with Bumi, his only friend left from before the ice. Also, I love the payoff for Uncle’s interest in Pai Sho. That whole episode where he’s looking for a new lotus tile gets a lot more context now.
