2023-08-30 09:25:41 +0000 UTCI'll never forget Bakugo glancing over at Deku in All Might's final battle when he said "It's your turn!". Deku thought he was the only one who knew All Might's real meaning, but Bakugo knew as well by his observations. Bakugo has very discretely and patiently observed Deku (and others), as well as himself in his quest of personal growth. I frankly didn't like Bakugo in the beginning, but he has become one of my favorites for his strength in all this. Tremendous strength is needed to accomplish this kind of self-growth. Awesome.

Despite the very clear change shown by Bakugo recently, he is still himself. It makes his arc feel much more convincing when you have that layer of consistency throughout. Change can be much easier to accept, in others and yourself, when you realize that often times a shift in perspective or approach is all it takes. Realizing you can remain who you are, yet still be capable of great personal growth can itself be a catalyst for change.
