2023-09-21 01:24:37 +0000 UTCI like how this episode ties back into a lot of stuff, like the message from the guru, Toph's pursuers, and the Kyoshi Warriors, while also setting a lot up for the future. Something that was once pointed out to me about this episode, is how when the earth king hears that the Avatar is among the group of intruders, he assumes it's Sokka. It shows just how sheltered he's been his whole life, that at this point he assumes that the air Avatar has lived his life and the current Avatar is from the water tribe, the next in the cycle. He didn't even know the Avatar went missing 100 years ago.
