2023-10-15 16:21:18 +0000 UTCThis is the moment where Season 2 of JJK makes itself known that it will not play around with story. They will go straight for the heart. I think watching JJK zero again would help better feel Geto’s change, but definitely after you finish the Hidden Inventory arc. The way they are able to twist his good-natured self is really just.. ugh. It’s terrible. As for Gojo.. he was just so young here! He was surrounded by those weaker than him (besides Geto).. so he could not possibly adapt to someone that much better than him. As for Toji… his lack of a presence gave him an advantage. (Also.. excuse my analyzing..) But the ending of this season is really beautiful. The lyrics.. the visuals..? Geto is constantly shown in the shadows in the ending while Gojo and Shoko are shown in the light. His betta fish and Gojo’s are the same in the beginning, but one turns black (Getos). When the betta is swimming by, Gojo is fixated on it (note the white betta is healthy and the black betta has some fin rot.) while Geto refuses to look at Gojo’s betta fish. Also.. at the very end there, theres two highway paths, symbolizing the different way they deal with this arc. More analyzing (such as for the opening haha..) I will do later. Enjoy my never-ending rambles on JJK from this point on.
