Genuinely, the best Avatar gaming experience I've had, was a plugin for Minecraft that added elemental bending (and some extra stuff, including blood bending) called ProjectKorra. I really wish there were better games for it!

2023-10-24 14:01:55 +0000 UTCYour timing with this episode is pretty amazing, since it originally aired on Halloween. What a great episode though. The world of bending had expanded as we've been introduced to so many different sub-types of bending. We've had Lightning bending and Combustion bending for Fire, Metalbending for Earth, Healing and now Bloodbending for Water. The fight between Katara and Hama has some fun details too. Waterbending, being based on Tai Chi, is all about using your opponents movements against them. You can see this in the first few moves of the fight. But then Katara, having spent time with and learned from Toph, takes an Earthbending approach and stands her ground. Hama's attack is stopped in it's tracks, which catches her off guard and lets Katara knock her over. It's a shame basically every Avatar game that's come out has been awful, since bending would make for a great power system in a game. Same goes for Hunter x Hunter actually. Nen is basically designed for a video game.
