That feeling of pressure which can lead to stress, which can compound on itself is a very real feeling. The lack of sleep thing as well. I totally share your take on dreams. I've known someone who didn't dream, and it's a weird thing to think about. They're just incredibly fascinating, even nightmares, as unpleasant as they may be. I had an uncle pass away when I was 10, whom I was very close with, and even many, many years later, I still have the occasional dream about him, as if he never even died. Dreams are one of the most fascinating phenomena out there.
