My Hero Academia Season 6 Episode 13 Early Access

Well, to be fair they did accomplish stopping Shigaraki from destroying the country. If they hadn't done anything it would all have been wiped out. It's always darkest before the dawn, as they say. Both sides lost the battle and neither lost the war.

Ugh… this episode. All that work.. and for what? What did the heroes accomplish? Its such a terrible but beautifully written arc. What really got to me was the last scene of midoriya looking at the sky. You took it in a more positive light.. while I didn’t haha. To me, the beauty of the sun shining compared to the destruction, death, and sadness shown everywhere else really showed Izuku “This is what it means to be a Hero.” How will this affect him? What is he striving for anymore?

The flashback of the league that we saw from Compress' perspective was actually cut content from the My Villain Academia Arc. I'm glad they finally managed to include it in the anime, and I think they chose a great moment to do so. Speaking of Compress, I love how it was his acceptance of being a literal side character that lets him sacrifice everything to save his friends. He knows he's not "important", but it's because of that that he ends up being the only reason that the rest of them escape. Halfway through the season already! Can't wait for the next half!
