Oh hey there, long time no see!
Glad you still around to check out these news!
Soooo.... you ready for the news then?
There is good news and bad news...
The good news first!
Midnight Ride got approved on Steam!
The bad news:
Midnight Ride got rejected on Steam!
Wait what?
Let me explain!!
Steam has approved the content of the game and has no issues with the nature of what Midnight Ride is or what it features.
The part that got rejected was build quality related, some minor stuff we need to make better in order to get approved.
What this also means is that the initially planned release date of February 14th will NOT be possible anymore since the previous review process took them very long and cycling through that whole hamsterwheel of getting reviewed again will take 3-4 weeks minimum again.
We decided to move the new release date even a few weeks further ahead than that timespan so we hopefully don't have to postpone yet again.
*drummroll*
Easter Sunday, 12th of April
This new date will give us and Steam enough headroom to finish this without having to rush anything.
Sooo.... everything is cool, right?
Well... not exactly.
I got a new job in January to be able to feed myself.
It is a parttime job which I explicitly took to be able to keep doing game dev on the side.
But at least for the first few months I will be hard pressed with initiation and transition into my new job, stuff to learn and things to get used to that it will be very hard for me to do anything on the side.
Midnight Ride is about as much on the side as I can manage for now but this will change not too far into the future once I settled in at my new job.
I'm not done with Space Junk or Twin Star, so bear with me!
