Update on the Rallying Cry

Hello everyone! I think it's high time I give everyone an update on how things have been going the past week. I admit, my greatest fear in all of this was that I'd get a tiny trickle of donations, just enough to "lock" me into this course of action without really facilitating it.

It's my great pleasure to say that is definitely not what happened.

What I've seen instead is an unbelievable outpouring of generosity, way more than I expected or even hoped for, and I can now say pretty confidently (uhh, knock on wood, I guess) that I can and will be getting a camper in the near future -- the only thing in question now is the quality of it. It definitely looks like I'll be able to afford the cheapest/oldest models in my area, but if things continue as they have been, I might be able to haggle my way into something genuinely livable, and that thought fills me with immense delight.

A lot of people have donated, and a few specific angels actually donated quite a bit, and I have to say, from the absolute bottom of my heart, thank you all so much for your kindness, your generosity, and being the best community I could possibly hope for. We aren't out of the woods quite yet, but it definitely looks like the trees are starting to thin out.

I'll be trying to shop and haggle for the best camper available over the next few weeks, and any and all further donations will still be going to improving the quality of my eventual purchase. I have a list of everyone's donations and their notes, so make sure to PM me if/when you wanna cash in points towards a commission! Thank you all again, so much, and I hope to have more updates soon!
