Strange Tales of the Deadslayer #9

Author's Note: Monthly short -- more Deadslayer! Also, since Dragon's Dogma 2's character creator is free, I downloaded it and tried to make Allara, pic below!

‭‭‭Properly plotting a course when you’re on another planet is… tricky. It’s not like north, south, east, and west actually exist the way I understand them here, and even if they did, I’d have no way of accurately determining which way was which. While I do have a companion who’s native to this world, Thiu’s life as a slave among the Xai hasn’t left her with a dazzling education, not even considering the language barrier between us. The best I can really do is to use landmarks as a guide, and even that’s challenging. I try to get a feel for the direction we were coming from before arriving at the Oasis Coven’s lodge, refer to that huge mural on the wall, and try to figure out a path from that alone.

If I’m to pursue Ciphia – and Thodax, I guess, while I’m at it! – then I’m heading south, or a rough approximation of it, but that brings us right back through the wasteland, and for a not-inconsiderable amount of time. No thanks! However, if we travel just a short ways northeast, we’ll hit a different… uh, ‘biome’ I guess, something that may be a bit more hospitable. Just far enough to get out of the wasteland, then we can dive straight south, probably saving a lot of time by avoiding exhaustion and dehydration. Though, on this strange planet, I’m sure there’s gonna be some other obstacle in the way – some monster or cult or whatever trying to get its pound of flesh! Unfortunately, that’s just a risk I’m gonna have to take.

Of some significance is that, if I was tired before, I’m unbelievably tired now. Getting some food and drink was great, but I still haven’t slept, and the lodge doesn’t feel like a safe place to do so… not anymore, not filled with dead bodies. After spending much of the evening preparing and gathering provisions, the exhaustion I feel sinking into my muscles is deeper than ever before, and ignoring it is becoming very, very difficult. Still – we can’t stay here.

Thiu and I finally make our way out of the lodge, away from the oasis, and back into the wasteland, this time with a better sense of where we’re going, though… I mean, like, not much better. Just because I know something up ahead isn’t the wasteland, doesn’t mean I know what to actually expect there. I can only hope there’s a water source, because these skins won’t last long.

With evening having fallen some few hours past, the heat of the day has diminished, replaced by a dry, brisk chill. My body is as resilient to the cold as it is to everything else, it seems, though I can see Thiu beginning to shiver. We need to get out of the wasteland, away from this cracked gray earth and these hypnotizing cerulean sands, and from the map, I don’t think we’re far from its northern edge. I grit my teeth and keep walking… and keep walking… and keep walking, letting sheer determination numb me to my perpetual weariness.

As evening falls to twilight, though, I feel the chill begin to abate as the terrain finally starts to change. The blue sands diminish, then disappear completely, and while the ground retains its stony gray coloration, the cracks gradually vanish. The dry, scraggly bushes are soon replaced by tall, stiff red grasses, coming nearly up to my knee, or the middle of Thiu’s thigh, and after close to another hour, we hear the beautiful, haunting song of running water. Or… running liquid, anyway. Who really knows in this place.

Darkness falls, and three moons – green, blue, and orange – begin to rush across the sky, creating the blazing dreamscape I recall so fondly from that night with Ciphia. Sadly, I am currently too exhausted to appreciate them, my eyes now scanning constantly for anything that looks like shelter. A cave, an outcropping, an abandoned house, honestly anything would do at this point! Thiu’s stopped shivering, but I can tell that she’s nearly as tired as I am, her footsteps beginning to grow unsteady, all four arms hanging limp at her sides. We’ll find shelter soon enough… we have to.

Night, though, brings more to the sky than the moons alone. With the heavenly lightshow above us, I don’t see them at first – not the way they block out the moons’ light, nor the hateful red glow of enormous round eyes. No, I hear them first. I hear the beating of massive wings. And I utter the single last syllable I want to, feeling the way I do right now: “Run!

I start to sprint forward, huge, powerful legs bringing me far with each stride, despite the way they burn when I do so. The necessity for shelter has gone from important to critical, as I can hear wingbeats – dozens, maybe hundreds of them – growing closer by the second, see their shapes begin to darken the sky. A glance back reveals that Thiu can’t keep up, going half my pace if that, so I double back to grab her, throwing her into a quick fireman’s-carry and continuing onward through the tall red grass, up along rocky gray slopes and crags, spotting the narrow river from which the sound of water had been coming.

I dare not spend any time focusing on the threat above us, because if I’m not able to get us somewhere safe soon, I’ll become quite well-acquainted with it in no time. Every muscle in my body screams with pain and exhaustion as I run, making my way to the nearest hope of salvation – a cliffside in the near distance. As I approach it, I see a dark spot about a third of the way up, maybe thirty feet… a cave, almost undoubtedly. The downside is that, after all this, I have no choice but to climb.

I hit top speed as I hear swooping sounds from above, Thiu still securely draped across my shoulders, and jump as far as I can to get a head start – landing about fifteen feet up and clutching hard to the cliffside with my fingers and toes, steeling myself for a fast, hard climb up. Pain courses through every part of me, and I can feel my veins throbbing, screaming at me that I can only push myself so hard and so far, but I continue. My eyes turn upward for just a moment, getting a better look at the creatures descending upon us, despite the disorienting light of the moons. It’s difficult to make out details, only that they are dark, dragon-winged, and vaguely man-shaped, as if someone who had never seen a human had tried to design one from a description alone. Most prominent, still, is their eyes, two huge red discs, unblinking and perfectly round, without pupils or any further detail – just malicious crimson orbs, seeking, tracking, hunting. Definitely not the kind of things I’m eager to get better acquainted with, so I’d better really get going if I wanna get us to safety!

With a hoarse groan, I pull myself up, kicking off the cliff face with the balls of my feet for a little half-jump straight upward, making it a few feet before finding a new hand-hold. I jump again, and again, and again, my fingertips finally grasping at the hard, dry ledge near the cave, and with one final act of waning strength, I pull Thiu and I up and stagger into the comforting darkness, only moments before the ravenous flock rushes past us like a hurricane, keeping to the open sky in search for more visible, readily available prey.

I take a moment just to catch my breath, closing my eyes, waiting for the swarm to pass us by. After a couple minutes, I roll onto my side to look at Thiu, seeing that she’s likewise exhausted, but seems otherwise unharmed. “How are you? Are you alright?”

“Mmm. N-not hurt,” she says uncertainly, trying to find the right words, ones I’ll understand. “You are? Your air is… chrr… loud.”

My air is loud…? Oh. I’m breathing heavily. Right. I smile, leaning over to very softly kiss her on the lips, then pull up to sit on my knees. “I just need rest, that’s all. This place… seems to be safe, maybe we can crash here for the night.”

“Crash?” Thiu looks confused, and more than a little startled.

“Sleep,” I let out a chuckle that sounds more husky than I expect. I glance deeper into the cave, but find a comforting sight – it doesn’t really go much deeper, and its farthest end is visible, so it doesn’t seem like anything has already made this place its home. Something could be out on the prowl, I guess, but I’d think it would have returned before the Mothman swarm outside woke up. Regardless, I can’t get any farther without rest, so I’ve gotta risk it.

Moving toward the cave’s deepest part, I throw down the rudimentary backpack I’ve been carrying, pull out the blanket scraps I took from the coven, and toss them down onto the rough, flat rock floor, promptly toppling down onto it. Not exactly comfortable, but the way my body burns for sleep, I barely even give a hoot. Thiu crawls over to me a moment later, laying her head on my chest and wrapping her arms around my waist, her eyes drifting shut along with mine. Is this the decadent slumber I’d been hoping for? Definitely not. But I find my mind switching off before much time has passed at all – if some monster wants to come and eat me, hopefully it’s really, really loud.

o-o-o-o-o-o-o

I’m awakened, not by an encroaching attacker or the sensation of something eating me, but by the light and warmth of day. How long I slept, I have absolutely no clue, but Thiu is still curled up beside me looking as beautiful and innocent as ever. I gently kiss her cheek, then her lips, rubbing one hand tenderly up and down along her side, and her lashes flutter, those solid violet eyes opening groggily. “Chrrr… mr-at ka al-ka’yurr,” she mumbles under her breath, then remembers that I don’t speak her language as well as she speaks mine, and rephrases. “A day, again, we live.”

“Against all odds,” I say sheepishly, giving her a soft squeeze against me, at which she releases a quiet, pleased squeak. “I’m glad I’m with you, Thiu.” I lean in to softly kiss her again, though this kiss deepens a moment after our lips touch, her tongue teasing out to flick across mine, which meets hers in turn. We’ve been through so much the past few days, it feels like ages since we’ve been intimate, since I took her at the first steps of the wasteland, just after we escaped Noai.

She lets out a soft moan into my lips, her lower pair of arms staying wrapped around my waist, while the upper pair caress down along my breasts, stroking and pawing at me as we embrace. As she artfully removes my top, three-fingered hands teasing along my nipples, I notice a tent forming in the lower area of her little green dress, her modest penis rising up to full length as we embrace. While I experience a brief pang of insecurity from seeing it, the feeling fades with familiarity, and I find myself considering the fact that I’ve never really like… touched it. Like on purpose. It’s touched me a few times, but never vice versa, and I can’t help but wondering if I should be paying more attention to it. If she… y’know… wants me to.

After a moment of hesitation, I bring one hand to Thiu’s butt, taking hold of it and pulling her closer against me, while my other hand dips between those slim thighs of hers, tucking her gown to the side to expose her boner, so strangely similar to that of a human besides its coloration. “So, uh… I haven’t really…” I say nervously, then clear my throat, trying to sound a little more confident, “I would pleasure you as you have me, if you wish.”

The Xai girl looks confused for a moment as she filters my words into her language, then glances down to her exposed member, biting her lip a little. “That… is good,” she says softly, nuzzling back into me and stealing another tender kiss, hands caressing up and down along my muscled body. Now that I’ve made the commitment, I’m immediately super nervous, wondering what exactly I just signed up for. Do I touch her now? Should I just use my hand, or…?

Swallowing hard, I pull away from her, getting on my knees and letting Thiu lay on her back, pulling her gown all the way up to reveal her smooth, gently pulsating girl-dong. It’s… cute, I guess. Not that scary or weird. I think I’ve seen enough of them by now that I’m not that scared, but it’s still strange to reach out and touch it. I press two fingers against it tenderly, rubbing up and down the underside like one might a cat’s belly, and am rewarded by a blissful squeak from Thiu, purple eyes sliding shut and her back arching, like she’s been waiting far too long for someone to touch her like this. I bite my lip and widen my kneel a bit, bringing my thumb in to more fully envelop Thiu’s peen, even if it’s not quite large enough to warrant the entirety of my brutish hands.

“Is this… is this right…?” I ask in a husky whisper, though the way she’s squirming contentedly in place would lead me to believe that I’m at least in the right wheelhouse. I slowly stroke her up and down, up and down, finding myself admiring her small, smooth little thing, realizing after a few moments that it’s around five inches, or a smidge under – very close to what I was packing before I became the Deadslayer, before I came to this crazy world, before I doubled the amount schmeat I had to work with.

“Mmm… g-good… yes, Alla’ra, aa-ahh…” she coos, and, even though I’m still reeeeally unsure about this, I close my eyes and take the plunge. Removing my hand from Thiu’s ding-dong, I wrap my lips around it, letting the entire thing sink into my mouth and taking in its musky flavor, the flat of my tongue enveloping its underside. Gosh, this is so weird! If you’d told me back home that I’d be sucking some alien slave girl’s dork I’d have told you to go soak your fat head, but here I am, with Thiu’s whole wiener past my lips, my nose pressed against the soft, hairless lavender skin where a human’s pubes would be. I start slowly shifting back and forth, bobbing my head even if it feels kind of silly, trying to replicate what I’ve seen girls do in naughty videos (and, now that I’m Allara, what I’ve seen some girls do to me!).

I scoot back and flatten myself down, my boobs presenting an unfamiliar obstacle that prompts me to prop myself up on my forearms, positioned neatly between Thiu’s spread legs. As I acclimate to the strangeness of having an erect penis in my mouth (something I never thought I’d say!) I find I’m… kind of enjoying myself, or specifically, enjoying the pleasure I’m making Thiu feel. Every squirm and moan is so musical, a little different than when she’s getting wiener’d from behind, and it really excites me that I’m able to give her that kind of sensation, able to please her. I… y’know. Care about her. This makes me wish I’d been a bit more of a generous lover with Ciphia. I wonder how these two will get along, if and when they ever meet…?

As the Xai girl’s moans simmer down to heavy breathing, I realize I’ve gotten distracted and redouble my efforts, trying some weirder stuff with no clue whether or not it’ll have any benefit – I spin my tongue in slow circles around her smooth, salty girlstick, pop off, and lick down the underside of her shaft until I’m almost to the balls, then chicken out and go back up (I don’t think I’m ready for balls just yet), licking around her tip before slipping her back into my mouth. My hands gently grip her sides as I increase the pace of my head-bobbing, trying to keep my tongue as involved as I know how, and am rewarded with the increasing pitch and volume of Thiu’s delighted cries and whimpers.

I settle into place, one hand reaching up to grab one of her small breasts, the other remaining planted at her hip. Both of her lower hands overlap my grip at her chest, her upper arms stretching and splaying out as her back arches again, three-toed feet curling up as she approaches climax. I have a pretty good idea of what that looks like, at this point, and prepare myself for what I know is coming – Thiu’s about to blow her load in my mouth! Rattled but determined, I keep sucking her, squeezing and fondling her breast to remind myself that I’m with a girl, and then it happens. Spurt, spurt, spurt, shooting against the back of my throat. I half-cough, but refuse to spit or pull back, taking a full swallow of the sticky, sugary nut that Thiu’s shot into my mouth. I shudder from the unfamiliar taste, then draw back, taking a deep breath and pulling up, kissing the Xai girl deeply on the lips, my larger body pressing against hers. I can feel the hot thrum of her body, whatever equivalent she has to a heartbeat, throbbing against me, and all four arms wrap around my muscled back and shoulders.

“Haahh… ahhh… rrrrrr…” she coos, clinging tightly to me. I kiss her again and pull back a little, gazing deeply into those pupilless purple orbs. In this brief safety of the cave, I’m so glad I have her, and… and I’m glad I got to make her happy.
