What up Patrons! How are you all feeling? I hope you're doing well because guess what, it's QUESTION TIME. That's right, it's the second quarter of the year so let's get another Q&A going. You know the deal, and if you don't - here's how it goes.

Submit any questions you'd like in the comments of this post or email them to: MysticRyan@Gmail.com - Whether it's games or something totally unrelated, submit them now and I'll film a video in a week or so from now. Alright, that's it for now. PEACE. (Love you).

Hey Ryan! Are you surprised that Sony has doubled down on VR for another generation? I’ve had a great time with the first generation, but it feels like such a niche market. Especially when compared to handhelds where Sony gave up on the Vita so quickly. Do you think the success of the Switch and the popularity of the Steam Deck may tempt Sony to do another handheld? I love the idea of accessing the PS Plus Game Catalogue on a handheld. The Vita is still my favourite console and I am sad that I can’t play Stray on it (natively) in July! I would love to hear about your thoughts on this. Thanks!

Hey Ryan, What do you make of Sony removing first party PS3 games from the service relaunch? (Sly is a glaring omission for me) Do you think it’s a move to bolster the lineup for future monthly refreshes? Or maybe to make room for proper ports? Hope your doing well.

Isaiah Hooks

Hey Ryan. I've been wondering how many gaming consoles you have in total throughout Sony, Microsoft, and Nintendo. Also are you gonna do a Playstation trophy video soon? I've really enjoyed all of the trophy videos you've done in the past and can't wait to see more in the future hopefully.

Adam Greene

Hey Ryan I was wondering if some games are released on the new PS+ without trophy support which version is preferred since trophy hunting is out of the question I have premium so I get both I saw you were playing Toy Story 2 and I'm guessing you would have an extra platform for nostalgia just like me I remember playing this exact game on PC before I knew that there was dedicated PCs for gaming kek I know I forgot to give you hints in my question for the last Q&A so I'll give you the answers the last question was more of a recommended work phone number if you ever made one (Best Selling PS when they were discontinued) last digit of the first three release year-the ultimate way of true backwards compatibility (213-406-1315) Last question IK people have been comparing the new PS+ to game pass and we both know that's not entirely true. However do you think MLB The Show will be free on Day 1 for people who have a premium membership. I know you don't have a hat on the mound with MLB the same way you and other people have a cat on the pound with Stray. Granted MLB The Show has a $60-100 price tag but they could do what Microsoft does. They could put the base game on PS+ premium for free and have people who want the more expensive edition pay the $10-30 "Upgrade fee" .

Howdy Ryan. My questions are 1. If you could only play 1 game for the rest of your life what would it be? 2. Any advice on burnout for content creators and have you experienced this yourself?

Cameron D Williams

Hey Ryan! I love your content, particularly your trophy videos. My question is: have you started thinking about or developing another 30 day platinum trophy video or something similar? These videos seem like they take a while to put together so I'm interested in your process when it comes to preproduction. Thank you and keep up the amazing work!

Lee Cooper

Yes, please pass along this Jedi-like mindset to the rest of us.

Eric Ferreira

Great question!

Eric Ferreira

Hey Ryan. Have been waiting for this one as usual. Got 3 questions for you: 1. How's the moving process going? 2. I know you are "The Playstation guy on YouTube", but have you ever thought about covering some Switch related stuff? I would love to hear some takes on games you've been playing (even if its for patreons only). 3. Do you have any plans on increasing the videos that you post on Patreon? The pattern I see now is that you post 1 video per month, and if we are lucky, we get two. Thanks for the Q&A and I wish you all the best!

Martin Nachev

Would you rather have a day job rolling katamari around like the prince, work as a porter like Sam Porter Bridges, be a treasure hunter like Nathan Drake, or be a conduit like Cole MacGrath?

Ben Lindey

Ryan I know you're a big Pokemon fan. Have you completed the Pokedex and, if so, which game was your favorite to complete. Also, here's the big one: which is your favorite Pokemon? Umbreon for me.

Andrew Burnes

If you had to release your own classic/mini console (in the style of the PS1 and SNES ones) with ten games, what console would it be and what would the games be? You can pick one that already exists (assuming you choose different games!)

JaM

Hey Ryan. What item in your gaming collection has the most sentimental value to you? What is the story behind it? As always thanks for the awesome content that you provide.

Jeremy Joyner

Hi Ryan hope you're doing well. If Stray does well, which it should it's the greatest game of all time, would you like to see it grow into a franchise? And what other animals would you like to see it take on? Bird, Bee, Dog, Mouse, Wolf? Also what franchise, besides Jak and Daxter, would you like to see a revitalization?

JediAray

Hey Ryan, thanks for always bringing all the best PS news, reviews and updates. I have a few questions and things I would like to see you talk about. Q1 - What is your best ways to enjoy and get immerse into gaming, do u prefer a nice confy headphones or a premium sound system? Q2 - Seeing Sony little bit at a time trying to shut down PS3 and Vita for good, do you think it's still worth getting thoses hardwares considering its harder to make it at full potential and support nowadays. Q3 - Do you think cross-gen games can hold it back graphics and physics? i keep getting myself comparing next-gen games only like Returnal and Demons Souls looks and feel much better than GT7 and Miles Morales. GT7 for me feels like a better version of GT Sports. My sincere regards.

Lucas Fiala

HI there Ryan, hope all is good with you. I was wondering what your thoughts on game emulation via unofficial hardware/software was. I've been having great fun with a Raspberry Pi running all kinds of old games and systems recently (including some PS1) running RetroPie. Have you dabbled in this 'dark art'? ;-) All the best, keep up the good work! Steve.

Steve_T_NZ

Hey Ryan, Thanks for all the great conversations! I was wondering what is the most difficult Platinum you can remember getting and what is the easiest Platinum you can remember? Hope you have a great day!

Tyler Rhodes

Hey Ryan, You always appear very chilled when playing through games, even something maddening like going for the albatross trophy in Tuesday's video, or Cuphead. Is there a 'Rage quit' montage video waiting to be released one day? How do you keep your cool when playing something infuriating?

Oscar Finn

Hi Ryan, I've Said This on the last Q&A but I cant stop saying this, thank you so much for your Channel and the incredible videos you make.(also, you were pretty close when you Said my name). What do you think about Sony charging more on the first party games? I really want to know your opinion because where i live the games were 70€, for example, God of war was 70€ but know it would have been 80€.

Diogo Ramos

Do you have any particular memorable tasks/missions/goals from any PS1 games that you would love to be able to have as a trophy using the new emulation on PS5?

Anthony Gallagher

Game development costs for Triple A titles nowadays are now astronomically high, like $100M or more, a figure that will only get bigger as games get better and more complex. How do you think is this going to affect the future of triple A games under the Playstation Studios banner? How do you think Sony is going to balance the business aspect of it and the creative aspect of always pushing the frontier of high-quality games? You've mentioned in one of your videos how there seems to be a ceiling in terms of the number of console adopters who play games so it definitely creates an interesting situation for Sony (rising development costs + stagnating player base = bad for business).

PHILIP NATHANIEL GO

Hi Ryan, hope all is well, thank you for everything that you do! Non-Sony related question. Do you think the overall generosity of Gamepass and the fact that Phil Spencer seems like a genuinely decent person with many pro-gaming ideas, is disproportionately skewing media and public perception of Xbox/Microsoft? It really seems to have bought them plenty of goodwill when their first party slate of games over the last several years has been really thin and continues to be really thin. Halo infinite was delayed a year at short notice and the multiplayer has suffered many problems. Recently stories have also leaked over troubles in their studios I.e undead labs, the initiative, Rare etc and the troubling behaviour of some of their executives. Phil Spencer has been in place for 8 years now and although Gamepass is great, a lot of other areas are lacking. Any thoughts?

Sam Brown

Hi Ryan, first time I ask you a question at a q&a. Thanks for the opportunity! What do you think of Naughty Dog as a videogame producer and its work done over the Playstation generations? And above all what is your opinion (on story, gameplay, graphics..etc) on one of their best game that is The Last of Us part 2? Moreover, about ltps, is there a precise order in which you enter the news?
