Haze Playthrough [DELETED SCENES]

Hello Patrons! I basically captured my entire playthrough of Haze, and the final video turned into something that was a mix of narration and my in-the-moment experience.

But naturally during the final edit, I had about 46 minutes of useable footage out of my playthrough, so here's not only a deleted scenes video, but basically an extended cut of my playthrough without the narration. So really you could just watch this instead of the main video if you really wanted to since I included all the relevant story beats of the game as well.

Anyway, here ya go! I'd say enjoy but the game wasn't good so who knows how fun it is to watch, I can tell you playing it wasn't all that.

I'd never heard of this game until your video on it (I was born in 2003), and it's surprising to me how hyped and expansive this game was advertised and expected to be. As you said, it just looks (both in terms of graphics, and gameplay) like an extremely generic, average shooter from the mid-2000s. The only truth about the advertising was that "Halo Killer" statement, because eventhough it didn't kill Halo like they planned in terms of popularity, I'm pretty sure if Halo was sentient, it would have died laughing at the people who came up with that in association with Haze after seeing the final product (a bit harsh I know, I didn't mean it, only did it for the awful joke). "Halo Killer" probably ended up killing Haze instead via killing a lot of people's interest in the game early on due to the high expectations such a bold claim entails, which I'd expect sunk quite quickly. Even if the game was good, that statement probably would have lost a significant amount of players just due to the high expectations. They definitely shot themselves in the foot in many ways with that one way or another. But as always, massive respect to those developers who tried so hard to make that game as good as they could. For all I've said, I feel bad for the developers that the final product released as it did. I hope their future, after the company was bought, was a lot brighter than Haze.

Hope you have a better time with it than I did!

I think I’m gonna pick up this game now. Have been meaning to have a reason to boot up the PS3 again
