Renault Clio Cup V Phase 2 version 1.0

Fuzo's Workshop together with Advanced Simulation Modding team presents the Renault Clio Cup V Phase 2 mod.

This mod is new version of the well received Renault Clio Cup V, released last year. For this year, the company Alpine Cars, which took over the sporting program of Renault Sport, released new Clio Cup Car, based on the facelifted version of Renault Clio Alpine Esprit version. This new version received updates for the front and rear bumpers, updated front and rear lights and some small details all around the car, but the interior stayed the same, like the rest of the car.

For this new version the exterior 3D model was replaced. Because of this, the skinning template was changed and the old skins are not compatible anymore, but I tried to keep the UV maping as close as possible to previous version, so if you want to update old skins for the new version, it should be quite easy.

The car physics is mostly the same like in the 2023 version, with just some minor changes:

• steering range was reduced by 40 degrees to 660 degrees

• added slightly more braking power (brakes should lock more)

• reworked throttle response LUT

These changes were made with help of the real life drivers and their feedback. All these changes will be applied to 2023 version as well which will be released soon at the Overtake.gg webpage, so both cars can compete against each other.

Installation:

• I suggest to use manual installation. Just unpack the archive directly to AC root directory in your steam installation (not My Documents!).

•  Installation with the Content Manager won't properly install custom suit and helmet textures which come with the mod!
